MADISON, Wis. — Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway has joined the more than 175,000 Dane County residents who have received at least one vaccine dose.
She got hers at the Alliant Energy Center.
While there, she also discussed the $49M that the city is receiving from the American Rescue Plan that President Joe Biden signed into law earlier this month.
“Our public health system is chronically underfunded across the country, so this influx in resources is very much welcome,” Rhodes-Conway said.
Throughout Dane County, nearly 20% of residents have been fully vaccinated.
