MONROE, Wis. — All lanes of Highway 59 are blocked after a crash near Monroe Wednesday morning.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the crashed happened between County Road DR and Wisconsin Highway 11/81 at about 6:15 a.m.
The road was expected to be closed for at least two hours while authorities were on the scene.
In the meantime, drivers should detour around the area. People heading east should take Highway 11/81 north to Highway 69, then go east on County DR back to Highway 59. Those going west should reverse those directions.
