MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are asking people to lock their cars and not leave valuables inside them after two different unlocked vehicles were broken into.
According to an incident report, two cars on the same block of South Randall Avenue were unlocked and entered overnight Thursday.
Police said a handgun was taken from one car, while the second car was stolen.
Officials said both thefts were reported early Friday morning and are under investigation.
