MADISON, Wis. — Madison police say one person is dead after being hit by a car on E. Washington Ave. Saturday night.
The 37-year-old person was hit by a car heading east just past the Stoughton Road intersection near Hy-Vee at about 9:42 p.m. Saturday, police said.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say an autopsy is scheduled. The victim’s name has not yet been released to the public.
