MONROE, Wis. — If you haven’t received your COVID vaccine yet, there’s a chance for you to do so in Green County.
SSM Health’s Monroe clinic received an allotment of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine for the first time. The doses are allowing them to add a weekend vaccine clinic to their standard schedule.
Right now, almost 40% of Green County residents have gotten at least one shot.
“It feels pretty good that we’re part of getting our community vaccinated, and hopefully getting back to somewhat of a normal life for everybody,” said clinical manager Amy Schulz.
Anyone who is 18 or older and who lives, works or goes to school in Wisconsin can go to the clinic in Monroe on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
You don’t need to be an SSM patient to get an appointment. Officials say they already have a very full schedule, but if you’d like to try setting up an appointment, you can give the clinic the clinic a call at 608-324-2000.
