JUNEAU COUNTY, Wis. — The Juneau County Sheriff’s Office says deputies have arrested three people on tentative drug charges after a traffic stop earlier this week.
Deputies stopped a car on Highway 21 in Cutler Township Wednesday afternoon after noticing the car had no front license plate. A Juneau County K-9 detected drugs inside the car, and deputies reported finding multiple illegal substances inside.
All three people inside the car — 55-year-old Lisa Jameson, 55-year-old Richard Jones and 30-year-old Jeffrey Hatfield, all from Necedah — were arrested.
Search warrants were issued for their homes after the traffic stop and members of the Juneau County Drug Task Force found drugs and more than $45,000 in cash.
All three face tentative charges of possession with intent to deliver cocaine, while Jones and Jameson also face charges for possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, possession with intent to deliver morphine, and maintaining a drug trafficking place.
The Juneau County Drug Task Force and the State of Wisconsin’s Division of Criminal Investigation are continuing to investigate.
