BELOIT, Wis. — The Beloit Snappers plan to allow fans to attend games for the 2021 season.
The team made the announcement Monday alongside Major League Baseball and the City of Beloit.
“Today, The Snappers are excited to announce fans will return to the ballpark in 2021,” team president Jeff Jurgella said. “Our staff has worked closely with Major League Baseball and local officials to develop a comprehensive plan to ensure fans can safely return to the ballpark this season. We have been approved to have limited capacity to begin the season. Safety is our top priority.”

To account for the ongoing pandemic, fans will be required to wear face masks, follow social distancing and leave bags at home. Staff will be screened before being allowed in to work. The stadium and its high-traffic areas will also be regularly sanitized.
The only way fans can guarantee they’ll get a seat at Pohlman Field or the team’s new downtown stadium when it opens is by buying a season ticket. Tickets are available for purchase online. The team’s full farewell season schedule is available here.
In December, News 3 Now got a look at the construction process for the team’s new stadium that’s set for completion in July.
More details about COVID-19 safety precautions are available on the team’s website.
