MADISON, Wis. — Police have arrested two people in connection with a shooting that left one person hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries earlier this week.
Authorities first responded to the 1200 block of Gilbert Road around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday for multiple reports of shots fired.
Officials said Siara Q. Williams, 19, turned herself in to police and was subsequently taken to the Dane County Jail on a tentative charge of first-degree attempted homicide.
Police said they also arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with the shooting. Steven L. Price Jr. was arrested Tuesday night during a traffic stop in the 300 block of Island Drive. Price was taken to the Dane County Jail and tentatively charged with felony bail jumping and party to a crime first-degree-attempted homicide.
According to an incident report, the two suspects and the victim all know each other. Authorities’ investigation is ongoing.
