MADISON, Wis. — President Joe Biden and Gov. Tony Evers have ordered flags to half-staff in honor of the eight people killed Thursday night in a mass shooting at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis.
The orders go into effect immediately and run until sunset on Tuesday, April 20. The orders mean U.S. and State of Wisconsin flags will be flown at half-staff at all buildings, grounds and military installations in Wisconsin.
Biden ordered U.S. flags to half-staff Friday via a Presidential Proclamation.
Authorities have since identified the shooter who killed at least eight and wounded others as a young man in his 20s.
