FITCHBURG, Wis. — Firefighters responded to a garage fire Saturday night on Fitchburg’s east side.
The Fire Department received multiple calls about the fire around 9:45 pm Saturday. According to firefighters, they were able to extinguish the flames within 15 minutes of arriving.
The fire took place on the 5300 block of Lacy Road.
The garage was detached from a nearby home. The Fire Department said the home and its two occupants were unharmed by the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
