FAYETTE, Wis. — A Darlington man is dead after a crash Sunday night in the town of Fayette.
The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened just before 8 p.m. near the intersection of Gravel Run Road and Highway F.
Authorities said 27-year-old Lucas Hicks lost control of his vehicle while trying to navigate a turn.
His vehicle rolled several times before ejecting him.
A report from the sheriff’s office said speed and alcohol contributed to the crash. Deputies said Hicks was not wearing a seat belt.
