MONROE COUNTY, Wis. — Wisconsin State Patrol troopers arrested a man Sunday night on suspicion of driving under the influence on a Wisconsin interstate.
Shortly after 9:30 p.m., troopers pulled over a Mauston man for speeding on I-90 in Monroe County. During the subsequent traffic stop, authorities noticed signs of impairment, according to a news release.
Troopers conducted field sobriety testing, and the driver, 51-year-old James Fitzsimons, was arrested on suspicion of fifth-offense OWI, speeding and possesison of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
