JANESVILLE, Wis. — Janesville police arrested three men Monday night after responding to a report of shots fired from a residence near Monterey Park.
When officers arrived in the 400 block of South Academy Street, they set up a perimeter. While at the scene, officers said they heard gunshot noises that they believed were coming from a speaker hooked up to a video game system.
According to an incident report, officers made contact at the front door of the home. A resident, 19-year-old Dylan Madonna, then opened the door pointing a handgun at officers, police said. Madonna reportedly followed officers’ commands to drop the gun, and he was subsequently taken into custody.
During the incident, police saw three other adults and a toddler inside the residence, according to the report.
Authorities obtained a search warrant for the residence and found spent shell casings, ammunition, a second handgun, marijuana and drug paraphernalia during their search, according to the report.
Madonna faces a first-degree recklessly endangering safety charge tied to the incident. Jacob Ramos, 28, faces a felony fugitive complaint charge. Carlos Ramos, 23, faces a possession of THC charge.
Police said no injuries were reported during the incident.
