A deputy with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s department responded to a one vehicle rollover crash on Highway 11 in the Village of Gratiot Wednesday around 12:30am. 30 year old Julie Geissbuhler of Darlington was westbound on Highway 11 when her vehicle left the roadway, entered the eastbound ditch, struck a rock embankment, overturned, and landed on its wheels in the eastbound lane. Minor injuries were reported and Geissbuhler’s vehicle had severe damage and was towed from the scene. Geissbuhler was cited for failure to keep her vehicle under control and failure to wear a seatbelt. Green County EMS-Darlington and Gratiot First Response assisted at the scene.
