MADISON, Wis. — A home on Madison’s near east side was struck by a bullet Monday evening, according to Madison police. No one was injured in the shooting.
Officials with the Madison Police Department said they received reports of gunshots in the area of Marquette and Hauk streets shortly before 6:30 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, officers recovered three shell casings and found a bullet had struck a home in the 200 block of North Marquette Street.

Police said their investigation is ongoing.
