Prairie du Chien Thieves Arrested in Fayette County in Iowa

Authorities from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department in Iowa have arrested two suspects who are believed to have stolen a trailer and a computer tower and cash in Prairie du Chien. The thefts occurred Thursday and reports way the suspects pulled into Prairie du Chien with a flat bed trailer with two blue tractors and lawn equipment, then checked into a hotel. Later, they reportedly stole a trailer from Nelson’s True Value and transferred the tractors from the flat bed trailer to a covered True Value trailer. Cash was also stolen from the hotel along with a computer tower. Images of the suspects were captured on camera and they were arrested in Fayette County Friday morning. The stolen items were also recovered.
