MADISON, Wis. — A burglar rummaged through two cars and a garage early Thursday morning after getting inside via a garage door opener left in an unlocked vehicle in a driveway.
According to an incident report, officers responded to the 9400 block of Lost Meadow Road around 12:15 a.m.
The report said the only item that was missing was the garage door opener.
Police said there is no suspect information, but the burglary could be connected to an attempted burglary in the 9400 block of Spirit Street.
