WHITEWATER, Wis. — Three people survived a plane crash in the Kettle Moraine Forest on Saturday without suffering any injuries.
Authorities with the Whitewater Fire Department said they were notified of the single-engine plane crash around 9:20 p.m. Saturday. Crews responded to the scene and found three occupants trapped inside the aircraft.
The three occupants were rescued from the plane shortly after 2:15 p.m. None of them reported any injuries.
Portions of Highway P south of Whitewater were closed while crews worked to free the plane’s occupants.
