SPRING GREEN, Wis. — Sauk County authorities arrested a man on suspicion of drunken driving Sunday morning after getting a report of a drunken driver in a carwash line.
According to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, authorities got a call shortly before 9:15 a.m. reporting an intoxicated driver in the carwash line at Riteway Plaza. The caller also reported there was a young child in the vehicle who wasn’t in a safety seat.
When deputies arrived, they made contact with the driver, 33-year-old Devin Davis, who reportedly showed signs of impairment.
Davis was arrested on suspicion of fifth-offense OWI (with a passenger under the age of 16) following field sobriety testing. He was then taken to the Sauk County Jail.
