MADISON, Wis. — The outer northbound lanes of I-39/90/94 are closed following a crash, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
The crash happened near Lien Road by Exit 135. Traffic backups could be seen on DOT cameras near County Highway T.
Dane County dispatch says at least three vehicles were involved in the crash, and fire and EMS crews were called to the scene after injuries were reported. The Wisconsin State Patrol says they are still assessing the situation at the scene, but expects to have lanes closed for at least two hours while they clean up the scene of the crash.
The DOT estimates lanes could be closed for about 2 hours.
A limited amount of traffic is able to get by on the inner lane, but traffic backups should be expected
