MADISON, Wis. — A Madison restaurant is continuing the mask mandate past the June 2nd expiration for all employees and patrons that dine in.
Graze, located in downtown Madison, posted a public statement on Instagram Saturday night regarding their decision.
The restaurant says they acknowledge the progress in vaccinations, but believes there is still ways to go.
Dane County public health officials are dropping the county’s mask mandate once the current order expires on June 2nd. CDC guidance says fully vaccinated people are safe to go mask-less indoors.
The announcement was made Tuesday, days after Rock County dropped their mask mandate.
Health officials say there will some businesses who want to continue enforcing mask policies, while others will transition into new CDC guidance.
