MADISON, Wis. — Police arrested two women Monday night after responding to an active disturbance on Madison’s west side.
Officers responded to the 5600 block of Schroeder Road around 10:20 p.m. where they found 20-30 people gathered.
According to an incident report, police arrested a woman who allegedly threw a bicycle at another person involved in the disturbance. The woman, Tiara Dixon was ultimately arrested for disorderly conduct.
While police were arresting Dixon, another woman, Audrey Dixon, reportedly tried to stop officers from arresting Tiara by grabbing at officers and yelling for police to not arrest her. Audrey Dixon was then arrested for obstructing an officer.
Both women were taken to the Dane County Jail.
