MADISON, Wis. People living inside a home near Elver Park told police they heard noises before items were stolen from them.
According to the Madison Police Department, the burglary happened just after midnight Wednesday at a home on Lucy Lane.
The residents of the home said they heard noises coming from inside their home and their bedroom door open.
By the time police were there, the burglars had left the house.
A few items were reported stolen, but no damage was reported.
The incident is still under investigation.
