CHRISTIANA, Wis. — A Cottage Grove man is facing an OWI charge after he crashed his car into a house Wednesday night.
Authorities with the Dane County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the 2800 block of County Highway W just before 9:45 p.m. for a report of a car vs. house crash.
When they arrived, deputies discovered 36-year-old Robert D. Brend had lost control of his car and crashed into a house. All three occupants inside the home were uninjured.
Damage to the exterior wall of the kitchen is estimated to be $75,000.
Brend was arrested for drunk driving and cited for inattentive driving and failure to maintain control.
