JANESVILLE, Wis. — Buying a house built by high school students might not be your first instinct, but the work from a group of Janesville students might surprise you.
Students from Parker and Craig high schools enrolled in the Advanced Construction Class just finished their latest project, and now, the home is for sale.
The program, a collaboration between the School District of Janesville and the South Central Wisconsin Builders Association, was launched in 1992. Each year, students get hands-on construction experience.
