MADISON, Wis. — A holy cow spent its holiday weekend handing out brats.
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church’s Holy C.O.W. will hold more than 50 remote events in 2021.
The food truck stands for Church on Wheels and sold brats on the corner of Raymond Road and Whitney Way all day on Sunday.
Money raised from the sales benefits the Children’s Wisconsin Essential Needs Pantry, which supports Early Childhood Education in the Meadowood neighborhood.
The C.O.W. is covered in shrink wrap and makes it look like a Wisconsin heifer. Its horn was also modified to sound like a cow in the field.
The truck was not fully functional until a mobile kitchen was installed in 2020.
