MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers is marking the start of Pride Month by raising the Pride Flag at the Wisconsin State Capitol for a third straight year.
The rainbow flag will be one of the flags flying over the east entrance of the Capitol in June and will not interfere with or replace any of the other flags flying at the Capitol.
The United States flag and the Wisconsin state flag will continue flying over the east entrance of the Capitol above the Pride flag. The POW-MIA flag will also continue flying on the north wing flagpole, where it currently flies every day.
The Pride flag first flew over the Capitol in 2019, during the first Pride Month of Evers’ term.
