BARABOO, Wis. — Eastbound lanes of Highway 12 between Wisconsin Dells and Baraboo are shut down after the highway pavement buckled Wednesday afternoon, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
The pavement buckled near Mile Marker 216 of Highway 12 — just beyond the Highway 33 exit — at about 4:20 p.m.
All eastbound lanes of the highway will be closed while crews make repairs. The DOT says the closure is expected to last about two hours, meaning drivers should find a different route.
