BELOIT, Wis. — A Beloit teen is facing homicide charges for his alleged involvement in a shooting that left three teens injured last month.
Police said the shooting happened May 14 in the 1300 block of Nelson Avenue.
Authorities with the Beloit Police Department responded Wednesday night to the 900 block of East Grand Avenue as part of their investigation into the shooting. The 15-year-old suspect was taken into custody on three counts of attempted homicide tied to the shooting.
The victims, ages 16, 18 and 19, all suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said they also arrested an 18-year-old man, Omar A Marin, on a Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office warrant for a South Beloit Police Department investigation.
