MADISON, Wis. — The seven-day average of new COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin has continued to fall, according to the latest data from the state Department of Health Services.
DHS officials said the rolling average of new cases per day dropped to 149, the lowest average in more than a year. The seven-day average percent positive by test has also remained under 2%, with Thursday’s average at 1.6%.
The state has reached an all-time total of 610,565 confirmed cases.

The seven-day average of confirmed COVID deaths per day went up slightly to 4. The statewide death toll is at 7,129 as of Thursday afternoon.
Rock County will lift its COVID restrictions Tuesday, with health officials citing a “significant decrease” in local COVID activity and hospitalizations alongside growing vaccination rates.
Health officials said 2,798,226 Wisconsinites have received at least one dose, which is 48.1% of the state’s eligible population. The DHS said 2,462,345 people have completed the vaccine series, or 42.3% of Wisconsin.

A total of 5,193,643 doses have been administered throughout Wisconsin, including 10,644 in the past day.

The second round of pop-up vaccine clinics are open until 7 p.m. in News 3 Now’s parking lot at 7025 Raymond Road and William G. Lunney Lake Farm County Park at 4330 Libby Road.
