MADISON, Wis. — Police are investigating after two people were shot early Thursday morning in downtown Madison.
Authorities with the Madison Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of West Gorham and North Broom streets shortly after 12:30 a.m. for a report of gunshots in the area.
A short time later, officers found a man who had been shot. Another shooting victim arrived at a local hospital a while later. Both victims are being treated for their injuries.
