WAUNAKEE, Wis. — Multiple rescue crews are responding to the Mazanet Marina on the north side of Lake Mendota after a group of boaters reported their boat was taking on water.
Dane County Dispatch said they got a call around 3:20 p.m. for a boat in distress, about a quarter mile from the marina.
Dispatch said no injuries have been reported. It’s unclear exactly how many people were on the boat.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office, Madison Fire Department Lake Rescue Team, Maple Bluff Fire Department and Waunakee first responders are responding to the scene.
