MADISON, Wis. — All eastbound lanes of the Beltline near Todd Drive are blocked after a crash Thursday afternoon.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the crash happened just before 2:30 p.m. All eastbound lanes of traffic are currently blocked while crews are on scene.
Dane County dispatch says multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, but did not have an exact number. Ambulances were sent to the area, but no information was available on how many people may have been hurt.
The DOT estimates the Beltline will be shut down for at least 2 hours. Drivers should find another route and avoid the area.
