JANESVILLE, Wis. — A 24-year-old Janesville man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a rollover crash early Friday morning.
Janesville Police say two patrol officers heard a crash behind Pine Tree Plaza in Janesville at about 2:18 a.m. Friday.
When officers found the vehicle, it was still on its roof after rolling over. The 24-year-old man who was driving was thrown from the car as it rolled.
Police say officers began emergency life-saving measures until the Janesville Fire Department arrived. The man was taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center.
The Janesville Police Department says its investigation is still ongoing, but they believe alcohol and speed were factors in the rollover crash.
