ALBION, Wis. — All northbound lanes of I-39/90 near Highway 51 in southern Dane County are closed due to a serious crash, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
The DOT says the crash happened at about 1:46 p.m. on the interstate about a mile north of Highway 51, between Albion and Utica.
All lanes of traffic are being closed north of Highway 51, meaning drivers heading north on I-39/90 will need to get off at Highway 51 and take the highway through Stoughton and McFarland up to Madison.
Dane County dispatch said multiple ambulances were sent to the scene of the crash.
