MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin buildings are lighting up purple on Saturday, June 20th to spread Alzheimer’s awareness.
To honor Alzheimer’s and Brain awareness month, the Overture Center for the Arts is lighting up purple – the signature color of the Alzheimer’s Association.
June 20th is the longest day of the year so the Alzheimer’s Association is using this day to honor affected families have and to shed light on the darkness of the disease.
