MADISON, Wis. — Madison Water Utility said the City’s drinking water “continues to meet or exceed all federal and state standards for health and safety.”
The utility released its Annual Water Quality Report on Wednesday. The report features an overview of the thousands of tests conducted last year.
Madison Water Utility said it takes the quality of drinking water “very seriously” and collects more samples and runs more tests than are required by state and federal agencies.
Madison’s drinking water system is made up of 21 active wells and more than 900 miles of interconnected pipes.
