FITCHBURG, Wis. — A Fitchburg police officer helped a group of ducklings stuck in a drain early Saturday morning.
According to a Facebook post, Officer Paskey saw a lone duck standing along the curb of Williamsburg Way near Verona Road on Saturday morning.
The officer then realized the duck was trying to get help for its ducklings that had found their way into a storm drain.
With the help of Fitchburg Fire Rescue, Officer Paskey was able to reunite all six ducklings with their mother who was waiting patiently nearby.
