MADISON, Wis. More than 1,600 people in Madison woke up to no power Tuesday morning.
As of 4:30 a.m., at least 1,628 people were experiencing power outages.
A spokesperson with Alliant Energy said crews were working quickly to diagnose the issue and restore power.
The spokesperson could not confirm if the outage was related to storms in the area.
