MADISON, Wis. — The seven-day positivity rate of new COVID-19 tests in Wisconsin has remained below 2% for nearly two weeks, according to the state Department of Health Services.
The seven-day average percent positive by test saw a minor increase to 0.9% as of Tuesday afternoon. DHS officials said the last time the state’s positivity rate hit 1% or more was June 16.

The rolling average of new COVID cases per day has remained largely the same at 73, and the state’s all-time total has reached 612,732 confirmed cases.
The DHS said 2,919,229 people have received at least one dose of vaccine, which is 50.1% of the state’s eligible population. Health officials said 2,721,267 residents have completed the vaccine series, or 46.7% of Wisconsin.
A total of 5,570,218 doses have been administered throughout the state, including 3,228 in the past day.

The seven-day average of confirmed COVID deaths has increased to one after after falling to zero over the weekend. The statewide death toll has reached 7,306, with health officials recording seven new deaths in the past day.
