MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are searching for a motorcyclist who drove off from a traffic stop on Madison’s near east side on June 20.
According to an incident report, a Madison Police Department officer tried stopping the man in the 1200 block of East Washington Avenue for multiple traffic violations. While the officer parked his vehicle, the motorcyclist drove off from the scene.

Police described the driver as a white man with tattoos on both arms and a full, red beard. The motorcycle was described as a red sport model with plastic above the headlight, on the front fender, the side panels, and over the rear tire. The motorcycle has a single red brake light on the rear.

Officials said the motorcycle had a Wisconsin plate, but the officer was unable to read it.
