MADISON, Wis. — No new COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Wisconsin within the past day, according to the state Department of Health Services.
As of Wednesday afternoon, the seven-day average of confirmed COVID deaths has remained at one. The statewide death toll has reached 7,308.

The rolling average of new COVID cases per day has gone down slightly to 69, and the state has amassed an all-time total of 612,801 confirmed cases.
The seven-day positivity rate of new COVID tests in Wisconsin has remained below 1% for nearly two weeks, with Wednesday’s average once again sitting at 0.9%.
Health officials said 2,924,168 have gotten at least one shot of vaccine, which is 50.2% of the state’s eligible population. The DHS said 2,728,670 residents have completed the vaccine series, or 46.9% of Wisconsin.
A total of 5,581,749 doses have been administered throughout the state, including 4,878 in the past day.
