TOWN OF SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — Authorities say one man is dead after a crash Friday morning in the Town of Sun Prairie.
The crash happened just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Ridge Road and W. Medina Road between a pickup truck and a sedan.
Officials say the truck was driving north on Ridge Road when it collided with the sedan, pinning the driver of the sedan inside.
The driver of that car had to be cut out of the vehicle by Sun Prairie Fire Rescue crews and died at the scene of his injuries. The man was a resident of Marshall, but his name is not being released at this time.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the crash.
