MADISON, Wis. — One person died after a crash on I-39/90 near Madison on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Department of Transportation, the crash happened on I-39 southbound at 4:25 p.m.
A news release said a car was parked on the right shoulder with a driver behind the wheel when another car approached it in the right lane and hit the driver as they got out of their car.
The driver of the car driving in the right lane was not injured.
