TOWN OF CADIZ, Wis. — One person died Saturday after a ATV crash in Green County.
According to a news release, the 65-year-old man driving the ATV died from injuries after his ATV struck a deer standing on the trail.
The release said the ATV left the trail after hitting the deer and entered a steep embankment where it hit trees.
Sheriff’s deputies said the driver was wearing safety equipment.
The incident remains under investigation by DNR.
