MADISON, Wis. — A Silver Alert was issued Sunday night for a missing Madison man.
According to a news release, Jack Popovich, 84, left his home on the city’s east side before 11 a.m. Sunday to go for a bike ride.
The release said Popovich, who suffers from dementia and has gotten lost before, did not return home.
Officials said he often frequents the city’s Capital City Trail, and left home without water.
Popovich is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has blue eyes and gray hair.
Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact Madison police.
