BAGLEY, Wis. — A man was hit and killed by a train in Grant County on Sunday night.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a man who was unresponsive and lying along the railroad tracks in Bagley. First responders were sent to the scene and found the victim’s body.
The sheriff’s office and Grant County Coroner investigated the incident and used the man’s driver’s license to identify him as Dylan Bausch, 25, of Boscobel.
Officials said it appeared Bausch had been walking back from the street dance in Bagley and was headed toward River of Lakes Campground. He died at the scene of his injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
