PELICAN, Wis. — State authorities have issued a warrant for the man believed to be responsible for an Oneida County homicide.
Law enforcement officials issued a statewide alert on Wednesday for 30-year-old Christopher Terrell Anderson after a woman was found dead on the side of River Bend Road near Highway 8, outside of Rhinelander.
Officials said they have since issued a warrant for Anderson for first-degree intentional homicide.
Anderson was believed to be driving a 2005 White Chrysler PT Cruiser with a Minnesota license plate. The vehicle has since been found, but Anderson has not.
Authorities said Anderson is believed to be armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 or the Oneida County dispatchers at 715-361-5201.
