MADISON, Wis. — UW Health says COVID vaccines are now available at its primary care clinics throughout the Dane County area.
Currently, the shots are accessible at 10 clinics, and in the coming weeks, most UW Health primary care facilities will be offering them to patients and the public.
“Make it part of our normal immunization process, something similar to the flu,” UW Health Ambulatory Operations Director Alicia Rizzo said. “So as we look into going into flu season and making those available in primary care locations like we normally do, we want to do the same for the COVID-19 vaccine.”
Vaccines are free and no identification or proof of insurance is required.
Anyone 12 years old and older is eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine, which UW Health has available.
