MCFARLAND, Wis. — McFarland Police Officers and Dane County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the report of a 30-year-old man threatening his girlfriend and family with a gun early Sunday morning on Lexington Street.
Officers arrived on the scene at 3:38 a.m. when they contacted two female victims who were able to leave the home with two children. They say there were two additional young kids inside the house with the man.
According to officials, officers were able to take the man into custody with no incidents. The gun was recovered at the scene.
The suspect was booked into the Dane County Jail.
